# T-Cell Activation
> T-Cell activation is sometimes referred to as "stimulation" or "priming"
Once [[T-Cells]] have undergone their [[T-Cell Development|maturation]] process, they are known as "naive T-cells" and await activation within a [[Lymphoid Organs|lymph node]].
An antigen presenting cell (APC), [[dendritic cells]] specifically, will carry an antigen from the site of infection, through the [[Lymphoid Organs|lymphatic vessels]], to a lymph node where it will interact with the T-cell and activate it.
